Focus and scope

Ciencia Jurídica has a history of 84 issues produced in 30 years of what was the Department of Legal Research, its purpose is to disseminate the knowledge produced by legal researchers and academics. As a consequence of this, it is in the interest of the Scientific Committee and the Editorial Committee of the journal to publish only relevant articles that meet the highest quality standards; therefore, each article received is evaluated by two independent experts in order to guarantee its relevance and academic quality.

Over the years, Ciencia Jurídica has become an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that welcomes legal reflection, remaining open to contributions from other contexts and disciplinary horizons, in several languages (Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, German).
