Focus and Scope

CIENCIA JURIDICA (CJ), is a scientific journal available in either printed (ISSN: 2007-3577) or electronic (ISSN-E: 2007-6142) forms. It is published each semester, and it principally focuses on the study of juristic disciplines viewed from a theoretical and practical perspective.

It contains unpublished and diverse juristic subjects, studied by national and foreign specialists. CIENCIA JURIDICA is ran by researchers, lawyers, professionals and public servers linked to the law study. The journal distribution is unrestricted and has no cost, so it can encourage debate on specialized juristic matters.

Peer Review Process

Opinions should be given based on the principle of double anonymity. The person that gives an opinion will not know the name of the author or authors during the process of the evaluation of the paper, as well, as the authors will not know who evaluates them.

 All collaborations will be submitted to evaluation, and peers should be notified in a period of three months. Also, work should follow our editorial guidelines and requirements, otherwise these will be returned to their authors.

Open Access Policy

This publication allows everybody to consult the information on it, therefore we encourage a better and global exchange of information.

Ciencia juridica does not charge for articles reception or prosecution.

Our ethics code is based on the values presented by the University which include truth, liberty, responsibility, respect and justice. As well, we follow the rules established by WIPO.

 

Revision

 All articles are submitted to peer evaluation process. Also, all work is reviewed for plagiarism using web searching engines.

Confidentiality

Evaluation of articles by peers should be handled with strict confidentiality.

Interest Conflict

Only original articles will be considered for the magazine. These articles should not be compromised with other publications or translations without previous authorization of the author or copyright holder.

 

Ciencia Juridica will have the copyright of the articles involved for five years only.

 

Each author, collaborator, reviewer or editor must sign the document that stipulates the absence of any interest conflict prior to the evaluation of the articles. In this document the collaborator must declare if the article submitted to evaluation results from another one, therefore, funding of this work should also be included.

Copyright

Ciencia juridica will recognize each authors work using their name in every article published. Modifications, manipulations or censorship to any paper are strictly forbidden.

Authors will respect the free distribution and publication of their work by the magazine. The latter, will be specified on a document authorizing Ciencia Juridica to make the first publication of the article in either printed version or digital version.

The usage of visuals such as images, photographs or graphs are fully responsibility of the author.

For any abstracts of other work citation in proper form is required.

 

Any opposite conduct to this statement will be solved by the editors committee following the applicable normativity.

CALL FOR RECEPTION OF ARTICLES/PAPERS FOR THE MAGAZINE.

Ciencia Juridica 12.

The international journal refereed to Juridical Science, indexed in Latindex, Dialnet, REDIB, VLex, CLASE, among others, invites researchers, teachers and law professionals to submit their research papers to be considered for publication in the number 12 corresponding to July-December 2017. Deadline for the reception of work will be September 29, 2017.

Basis

  1. Ciencia Juridica is a publication of academic nature, of research and not of dissemination, produced by the Law Division, through the Legal Research Program of the Law Department.
  2. It is a semestral publication, both printed and electronic, available to the national and international community, as well as interested in the legal area, being possible to visit it on the website: http://www.cienciajuridica.ugto.mx.

 

 

  1. The main objectives of the journal are: 1) To create a space for analysis, discussion, reflection and generation of knowledge in the legal field; 2) Use Information and Communication Technologies to communicate the results of research carried out in the academic and professional community of Legal Science; And 3) Create an agile, timely and high-quality alternative for both researchers and law professionals to maintain up-to-date legal knowledge.
  2. The papers must be sent as attachments to the email revistacienciajuridica@ugto.mx.
  3. We urge the authors to carefully read this instruction, before their writing is submitted to the evaluation process for possible publication in the Journal of Juridical Science.

The document will be delivered in the size of letter, 8 "by 11", to 1.5 spacing, 12 points, Times New Roman, with pages numbered consecutively, and will be delivered in digital version: by e-mail.

Upon receiving the letter of acceptance of the work for publication, the author will send an email in which he will openly express his authorization for publication, assigning the copyright for the dissemination of the work, according to the criteria of intellectual property and international licensing.

The version of presentation of your document will be in: Word for Windows, version 2003 or other modern versions.

The extension of a scientific document will be at least 15 pages and cannot exceed 25 pages, including bibliographical references, annexes and acknowledgments, if they are incorporated.

In case work is approved, the author must express by electronic means that he or he authorizes to publish his work in our magazine, knowing and approving its publishing policies and giving permission for its free reproduction by means written and electronic.

All work will be immediately acknowledged and the author will be informed of the final approval within a maximum period of three months. All submissions will be evaluated by peers, who will decide if it is published, whether it is accepted with recommendations or if it is rejected.

 

The editorial committee of the journal reserves the right to introduce the necessary modifications to adapt the texts to their formats and other editing standards.

The author of the paper may request information about the arbitration process of the same, to the email revistacienciajuridica@ugto.mx.

This publication will appear on December 2017.
