Abstract
This paper aims to contribute to the debate as to the most appropriate and effective way of implementing Restorative Justice in places where a more punitive mentality is prevalent. It provides an account of the author’s efforts to argue for RJ in Maine, USA, and reflects critically on the ethical and ideological dilemmas involved.The authors retain the copyright and must provide in writing the authorization for the first publication, via a computer network and printed to Juridical Science.
