Abstract
This study is based on the premise that our country needs more researchers and less lawyers, in addition to knowing litigate or provide justice, able to create knowledge, to have a broad culture, a deep humanism, a sense of justice, equity and playability, they know the deep values which implies the right and to devote all their efforts to the service of others, as part of their vocation.Dignify the profession is necessary, considering that its exercise is exposed to serious faults. Respect, knowledge, prudence and secrecy are essential features in legal practice, which can not be waived. To properly exercise the legal profession requires constant study and research, discipline and academic rigor.
To better understand the humanistic foundations of this discipline, I made a brief summary of the history of law.
