The approval of a manuscript by the Editorial Committee implies that the author consents to the dissemination of their article through the journal’s electronic platforms, including its website and the national and international bibliographic databases in which Ciencia Jurídica is indexed.

The author must provide written authorization to the University of Guanajuato for the publication of their article in Ciencia Jurídica. The Authorization for Publication form is available on the journal’s website and must be downloaded, signed, and submitted once the Editorial Team contacts the authors to confirm the issue in which their article will be published.

Ciencia Jurídica, ISSN: 2007-3577 (print) | ISSN-E: 2007-6142 (online), distributes its articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This allows others to reproduce, distribute, and publicly communicate the work, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the University of Guanajuato. Quoting, adapting, transforming, self-archiving, republishing, and building upon the material is permitted, as long as these actions are non-commercial, proper attribution is given, a link to the original work is provided, and any modifications are indicated. The University of Guanajuato does not retain ownership of the published works, and all content remains the sole responsibility of the authors, who retain their moral, intellectual, privacy, and publicity rights.

Editorial interventions such as peer review, copyediting, translation, and layout, as well as the dissemination of the work, are carried out under a license of use, not a transfer of rights. Therefore, Ciencia Jurídica and the University of Guanajuato disclaim any liability arising from ethical misconduct by the authors. As a result of the protection afforded by the license of use, the journal is not obligated to issue retractions or modify already published content, unless the error originated during the editorial management process. No royalties are granted for the publication of content in this journal.
