Abstract

On July 23, 2024, I had the honor of being appointed director of Ciencia Jurídica, and this change in leadership represents an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to editorial excellence and the promotion of knowledge in the legal sciences. Under this new direction, we renew our mission to consolidate ourselves as a space for critical, interdisciplinary and cutting-edge analysis, oriented to the current challenges of law. This edition reflects, precisely, this renewed vision by addressing issues of great relevance and legal relevance. From the theoretical analysis of fundamental concepts such as responsibility and justice, to applied studies on social reintegration and the fight against money laundering, the selected articles offer a broad and diverse overview of contemporary legal challenges. This issue also bears witness to our commitment to critical reflection and the integration of multidisciplinary approaches that enrich legal theory and practice.
